Water, pastel colours, pure aesthetics. #MomentsForUs continues with a new mood and different looks. We give the floor to Aleksandra (@aaaesthete) and Borjana (@bor.jana) to take us deeper in their newly created world.
Aleksandra and Borjana: The second session of the series #MomentsForIs is directly inspired by G-Shock. Now we are playing with glass forms and we are using water as the focal, yet subtle element, so as to highlight the water resistance of the watch.
Aleksandra: We needed to include water in the set, which is why we opted for an aquarium and gold fish and other glass forms that balance the composition and make the whole space complete.
Borjana: The concept with water and the palette of colours was inspired by the pastel pink colour of G-Shock GMD-B800SU-4E, and we called the photo shoot “Watercolour”.
Although the word has a different meaning, to us it symbolized the symbiosis of the elements of the photo session.
Аleksandra: Borjana’s clothes were chosen to match the watch, and we made the background white so that all delicate shades of the elements would pop up. The post-production of “the colour” was meticulously done to come to some colder shades and make the contrast between the colours of blue and orange.
Borjana: I really couldn’t put G-Shock in any group, because I don’t think that one single definition would do it justice. In my view, G-Shock belongs to all categories at once and I can wear it anywhere, in any occasion, with any styling. I am sure the fans of this brand would agree with me.
Borjana: Currently I have 3 G-Shock wristwatches that I share with my brother and we wear them alternately. A new G-Shock „edition“ is on the horizon and I can’t wait.
