To mark its 50ths anniversary, Casio Europe GmbH created Casiotron QW02 – the world’s first line of automatic calendar digital watches. The new TRN-50 is available in limited quantities – only 4,000 watches are available worldwide, with one finding its place in our store, exclusively at MY:TIME.
In 1974, Casio created the first Casiotron watch, a breakthrough of digital wristwatches, using the maximum of the original Casio digital technologies and reviving the concept of fully automatic wristwatch. Casiotron is the first watch that displays the time, the month, the date and the day of the week. Casiotron is the true pioneer that exceeds the expectations of a digital wristwatch – an automatic adjustment for longer and shorter months, without the hassle of manually correcting the calendar each month.
The new TRN-50 remains true to the Casiotron concept of a fully automatic wristwatch, and is a reflection of the half-a-century long development of Casio watches when the first model was released.
